Walk in and you'll experience the calm and a wonderful sense of warmth that envelops this Centre. Children's art decorate the walls and project work is clearly on display. Tidiness is important but not so much that it interferes with the learning experiences of the children. The atmosphere is relaxed and productive. Each room has different play areas to allow children to play alone if that suits them or in small groups. Outside the playground has a natural feel with extensive planting and play areas that offer different play options. Teachers gently support the activities children are involved with. Shade from sun and wind has been designed into the layout as is an easy flow from each room into the outdoors making it easy for children to move from one activity to another.
